Primary Function
To maximize and manage shipment transactions by effectively using fleet and partner carriers while providing excellent customer service and adhering to company processes and procedures.
- Respond promptly to all shipment requests,
- Develop effective solutions for customers,
- Optimize fleet utilization to maximize contractor & company income,
- Manage the successful movement of shipments and meet customer expectations,
- Provide effective communication to and between external and internal customers,
- Monitor and record relevant shipment information systematically,
- Monitors, responds to, and manages load boards,
- Respond effectively to service failures,
- Calculate billing rate & negotiate costs for shipments,
- Maintain overall gross margin goals,
- Manage successful execution of dedicated trucking commitments,
- Create and execute back up plans for each Dedicated run,
- Assist and coaches fleet contractors as appropriate,
- Maintain positive fleet relations,
- Adhere regulatory requirements and company policies,
- Assist other team members,
- Assist with training and orientation of team members,
- Promote the company,
- Other duties as assigned.

- Previous experience in a similar role,
- Great interpersonal skills,
- Great communicator,
- Learns and adapts quickly to software programs and technology in general,
- Can multi-task effectively,
- Can work under pressure effectively,

Previous experience in a similar role,
Previous experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS,
Previous delivery driving experience,
Working knowledge of FMCSA, MTO, CBSA, CBP, and DOT regulations
Shift
- Hybrid 50% office & 50% remote,
- Rotate week 1 & week 2:
Week 1: Weekend remote on call, then Monday and Friday @ office
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at office
